On a bright and sunny day,
- My doggy came to say,
"I have a present for you,
- And it is really, really cute!"
I stared at her in disbelief
- But I took another look.
Inside her mouth,
- A rabbit sat asleep.
- I cried at the sight,
I saddened with fright,
- For I thought it was dead.
But when Jackie picked it up,
- It seemed to lighten up!
- It moved its little paw,
I couldn't believe what I saw!
I took it to a box,
Where it slept and had some milk.
I just couldn't let it go,
- For she was as valuable as silk!
