#27021—EDTECH-01: Introduction to Online Teaching/Learning

Dates: September 7 - October 29, 2004

This course will help students understand what online teaching and learning involves.  Students will examine available course delivery systems and evaluate available tools for online education.  These courses establish both a practical and theoretical base in distance education.  They will provide an overview of the characteristics, the essential elements, and the various models of effective online curricula.

Dates: November 7 - December 23, 2004

EDTECH-02 will help students understand and apply current theories in online teaching and learning. This course establishes both a practical and theoretical base in distance education.  The course will provide an overview of the characteristics, the essential elements, and the various models of effective online curricula.  The primary goal of this course is for students, working individually, or in teams, to acquire the skills needed to develop curricula for online delivery.
